A little about who we are...

We are a small, family run (third generation!) Park with a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Originally set up in the mid 1950's, we have been here ever since offering a warm welcome to all our visitors past, present and in the future.  We are even mentioned in Alfred Wainwrights book on 'Outlying Fells'.

When we are full, there are 85 holiday homes on the Park, set out in a random fashion (no rows!).  All homes are privately owned (no subletting is allowed, but family and friends are no problem), and are sited on individual plots which all have full services of electricity, water and drainage.   Space for your car is provided, all on a hard-standing, car-sized place.

Plot sizes vary, but we endeavor to cater for 38' x 12' holiday homes where-ever possible.

A mixture of fruit trees, mainly damson, and larger deciduous varieties such as oak, cherry, sweet chestnut and ash are growing through the Park, with more natural woodland surrounding on all sides.  There is a steep rough fell behind the Park with paths to explore for any dog-walkers (and even those without dogs...).  Wildlife is abundant, with squirrels, foxes and Roe and Red deer all frequent visitors to the Park.

Badgers have also been seen, but you need to be up early to catch them!

Colour around the Park is almost year-round, starting with snowdrops, daffodils, bluebells, and damson and cherry blossom, with azaleas, buddleja and montbretia following on, finishing with the autumn colours to end the season...
